The need for Male Allyship:

The benefits of diverse and inclusive workplace are clear: they foster innovation, attract top talent, and help you build stronger relationships with your clients and business partners.

However there is a challenge in building these diverse and inclusive workplaces: many men in organisations are not engaging in supporting them nor taking actions to foster them.

Companies are missing or postponing targets for the representation of women and we are now seeing pushback from men who believe that initiatives to support women discriminate against men.

It is time for a new initiative: one which listens and responds to men’s fears: one which supports them in learning how they can thrive in an organisation that also wants to achieve progress for women.

What is in the program?

The Program has several components which are best taken together, for maximum impact on the organisation and its leaders, but can also be accessed in a modular approach:

1) Kick-off – Engaging Male Allies: Driving Results Through Values Based Leadership
2) Module 1 – The Who: Identity, Who Am I, What Do I Want and What Do I Need?
3) Module 2 – The Why: Leadership and Legacy in a VUCA Future
4) Module 3 – The How: Driving results Through Values-Based Leadership
5) Executive Coaching – A Series of Individual Coaching Sessions for Male Leaders
6) Closing Event – Engaging Male Allies: From Best Practice to Common Practice

The three Modules and Executive Coaching are designed as workshops for men only, so they can engage in a safe space to address their issues and concerns. This programme is particularly effective when you run a Women in Leadership Programme alongside.

Each Module’s content is tailored to focus on your business challenges and opportunities. The workshops will be a 2,5h interactive learning experience with space for conversation and reflection. We will use case studies and storytelling in combination with ‘Think, Pair, Share’ and ‘House of Commons debate’ exercises. The sessions can be delivered in person, virtually or hybrid, with content and duration tailored to your specific requirements.

This Programme is crafted to help male leaders excel as values-based leaders. It engages them by showcasing the benefits for their careers and personal lives.

To amplify the business impact, we help male leaders committed to values-based leadership to become allies to underrepresented talent as part of building an equitable organisation. After the third workshop, each cohort will pledge to become Agents of Change, making a difference through tangible actions. Coaching profile:

When coaching executives, I start with the goals: what is my coachee wanting to achieve? I then explore with them the context they are working in and help them establish what changes they need to make in themselves to enable the achievement of the goals.
